Took my new Taurus G3c to the range with five (5) ten round magazines. Loaded with reloaded 9mm Ammo (115-grain) from Ammo Depot. Experienced half a dozen failure to come to full battery. Had to slap the slide forward then the weapon would shoot. No problems with failing to load, misfires or jammed rounds. Forgot to bring other brands to compare.To Taurus' credit, even with the stock triggers, the G2c guns represent, in my mind at least, a big improvement for Taurus over the harsh triggers so common five or ten years ago in their production semi-autos.. So, not only does the Taurus G2c not suck (four stars from Sam Hoober), but with the Keep Tinkering trigger upgrade, it's a truly stellar performer.Arcane26 Discussion starter · Jul 30, 2021. I came back from the range for the first time with the G3C and pushed both disassembly switches down, pulled the trigger and tried to slide the slide off, but got stuck in this position. It will only move forward or backward a tiny bit, but I cannot seem to get it out of this position.
